Product Manager

Role

Product Manager on Microsoft’s Commercial Engineering & AI (Customer Success Engineering) team focused on AI-first applications for Customer Success. This is an AI-native product role combining long-range product strategy with hands-on prototyping and shipping using AI-assisted development.

Key Responsibilities

• Set the strategy: own multi-quarter vision and roadmap for AI-first applications, translate business goals into measurable product outcomes, and prioritize scenarios and bets across the portfolio.
• Envision: lead scenario envisioning, UX and technical product design for agentic and Copilot-powered experiences, and advise on GTM and adoption.
• Build with AI: prototype and ship applications, agents, and workflows using AI-assisted development (including Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI). Stand up functional demos and pilots quickly, validate with users, and partner with engineering to deliver production-quality experiences.
• Instrumentation & evaluation: define telemetry, dashboards, and evaluations for AI quality (accuracy, groundedness, latency) and business impact; use data to validate and iterate.
• Increase productivity: apply AI to accelerate research, PRD generation, competitive analysis, user-feedback synthesis, and build internal patterns and templates to raise team throughput.
• Cross-functional leadership: collaborate with designers, architects, executives, and engineers; evangelize frontier technology trends; clearly communicate goals and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

Required

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience in product/service/program management or software development, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrable experience building and shipping AI applications and agents (e.g., conversational UX, agent frameworks, GPT/Copilot solutions).
• Hands-on builder with the ability to prototype applications using AI development tools.

Preferred

• Recent shipping experience of AI and agentic solutions that solved business problems.
• Track record of using AI tools to increase personal and team productivity.
• Demonstrated use of AI across the build pipeline (AI-assisted coding such as GitHub Copilot, AI-generated tests, AI-assisted code review).
• Hypothesis-driven, experiment-oriented, and comfortable validating with telemetry and making fast scale-or-kill decisions.
• Ability to build data-driven product experiences and define metrics/evals to inform decisions.
• Self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and strong cross-group collaboration skills.

Location & Work Arrangement

This position is based in Microsoft Hyderabad and requires working from the office 100% of the time.
