Product Manager

Role

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Product Manager to own product management for the Hindsight recording platform’s licensing, subscription and billing foundations. The role is hands-on: run discovery, define outcomes, write specs, collaborate with engineering and finance, and deliver a unified emergency communications recording experience across the Hindsight suite.

Key Responsibilities

• Run continuous discovery: interview customers and internal stakeholders, observe billing workflows, analyze usage and payment data, and synthesize findings into problem statements and opportunity assessments.
• Ship product: work with engineering and design to move from problem to solution to delivery, write product specs, make scope trade-offs, and ensure delivered solutions solve the intended problems.
• Measure impact: define success metrics, instrument products to track them, use data to validate hypotheses and demonstrate business impact.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: coordinate feature changes and launches with Finance, Sales Operations, ERP teams, and other product teams.
• Market and competitive understanding: monitor emergency communications trends, inform pricing/packaging/subscription management, and perform competitive analysis.
• Sales and marketing enablement: align product catalogs and sales materials for clean go-to-market processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 5+ years of professional experience in a high-tech environment, including 3+ years of product management experience in SaaS, cloud platforms, or enterprise software.
• Experience with emergency communications systems, radio systems, call handling systems, or cloud-hosted platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to run customer discovery and translate findings into product decisions.
• Comfortable engaging directly with engineering, discussing architecture and trade-offs.
• Experience defining and tracking product metrics and using data-driven prioritization.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bias toward action and iterative shipping.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely (no employer sponsorship available).

Preferred / Nice-to-have

• AI fascination and experience rapidly standing up AI-generated prototypes (vibe coding / rapid prototyping).
• Experience with multi-sided ecosystems (partners, installers, integrators, end-users).
• Technical background (CS, engineering) enabling deep engagement on system design, APIs, and platform architecture.

Compensation & Logistics

• Target base salary range: $120,000 - $140,000 USD.
• Travel: under 25%.
• Relocation: none provided.
• Employer will not provide work permit sponsorship; U.S. authorization required.
