Job Description
Role
Pulsora is hiring a Product Manager to lead the development and operationalization of AI-powered capabilities across its SaaS Enterprise Sustainability Platform. The role focuses on integrating LLM-powered features and sustainability requirements (regulations, frameworks, and standards) into product strategy, roadmaps, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute product strategy that integrates AI capabilities with sustainability regulations and frameworks.
- Partner with applied AI engineers to scope, design, and ship LLM-powered features (agent workflows, retrieval-augmented generation, intelligent assistants).
- Rapidly prototype and validate ideas using AI-assisted coding tools to build proof-of-concepts and internal tools.
- Ensure regulatory compliance across global and regional sustainability requirements and maintain mappings between different standards.
- Shape capabilities for GHG accounting (Scopes 1, 2, 3), decarbonization target-setting and tracking (e.g., SBTi, CDP), and audit-ready data lineage.
- Engage with clients as a subject matter expert during onboarding, training, and ongoing usage.
- Gather requirements from stakeholders and prioritize features in collaboration with engineering, design, and other teams.
- Establish KPIs and AI evaluation frameworks (quality, accuracy, consistency, failure modes) and use data-driven insights to improve features.
- Conduct market analysis on sustainability regulations, frameworks, and AI tooling relevant to the product.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, customer success, legal, and global teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, environmental science, computer science, engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Proven track record (3+ years) in product management, strategy consulting, or sustainability analyst roles with significant sustainability experience.
- Deep knowledge of sustainability regulations, frameworks, and standards (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD, EU Taxonomy, SFDR, EDCI, CSRD, GHG Protocol, SBTi, CDP).
- Practical knowledge of GHG accounting methods (Scopes 1, 2, 3), ISO 14064, emission factors, and activity/spend/supplier-based methodologies.
- Familiarity with sustainability assurance and audit practices (ISAE 3000/3410, AA1000AS) and requirements for data lineage and controls.
- Understanding of decarbonization strategy and scenario analysis techniques.
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted “vibe coding” tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Replit) to build prototypes or internal tools; deep ML engineering expertise not required.
- Working knowledge of LLM application patterns (prompt design, retrieval-augmented generation, agent workflows) and major LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini).
- Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills; ability to operate in ambiguity and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in agile environments and familiarity with product tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Willingness to work with a global team, including some flexibility outside regular hours to collaborate with offshore teams.
Compensation & Location
- Compensation Range: CA$60,000 - CA$70,000.
- Role labeled for Canada; hybrid-friendly environment noted (in-office 2–3 times per week in select offices such as New York, San Francisco Bay Area, and Munich).
Tools & Patterns Mentioned
- AI-assisted coding tools: Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Replit
- LLM APIs and patterns: OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, prompt design, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agent workflows
