Product Manager/Senior Product Manager
Uses Cursor and other AI assistants for rapid prototyping; explicitly expects structured, spec-driven AI work and calls out "not just vibe coding."
About the Role
Saviynt is hiring a technically strong, AI-curious Product Manager to lead the Non-Human Identity product area, owning product outcomes from discovery through GA. The role emphasizes hands-on AI prototyping (Claude, OpenAI, Cursor), strong software development experience, and deep identity security expertise.
Job Description
Role
Saviynt is seeking a Product Manager / Senior Product Manager to own the roadmap and business outcomes for Non-Human Identity (NHI) Posture and Management. This is a hands-on, technical PM role that requires rapid prototyping with modern AI tooling, close collaboration with engineering, and end-to-end product ownership from discovery through GA.
Key Responsibilities
- Own product outcome and roadmap for Non-Human Identity capabilities, defining success metrics tied to business impact (revenue, adoption, retention, competitive positioning).
- Prioritize features and trade-offs between short-term customer commitments and long-term strategic bets.
- Drive the 0→1 journey for new NHI capabilities: problem validation, early adopter traction, and scaling to repeatable growth.
- Design and run lightweight experiments to validate product hypotheses and measure product-market fit signals.
- Engage continuously with customers (onboarding, discovery, support escalations) and champion customer outcomes internally.
- Rapidly prototype concepts using AI platforms (Claude, OpenAI, Cursor, etc.) and deliver proof-of-concept builds to demonstrate product direction.
- Instrument products from day one: define metrics, own dashboards, partner with data engineering to ensure telemetry is in place.
- Lead cross-functional alignment (engineering, design, sales, customer success), drive sprint planning, dependency management, and communicate roadmap decisions to executives.
Requirements
- 5–6 years of product management experience, with at least 2 years in B2B SaaS.
- Hands-on experience building with AI tools (Claude, OpenAI APIs, Cursor, or similar) and fluency in structured, spec-driven AI development.
- Strong software development background with production-quality coding experience in one or more of: Go (Golang), Java, Python, JavaScript.
- Deep understanding of identity and access management concepts (SSO, RBAC, directory services, identity governance, Non-Human Identity); experience with identity security or Zero Trust architectures is strongly preferred.
- Track record leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex features on time.
- Exposure to LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, or AI agent workflows.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to simplify complex ideas.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience at an early-to-mid stage startup wearing multiple hats.
- Hands-on experience building LLM-based applications using frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or RAG patterns.
Compliance & Onboarding Requirements
- Completion of security & privacy literacy and awareness training during onboarding and annually.
- Review and adherence to Information Security/Privacy Policies and Procedures (data classification, incident response, access control, personnel security, privacy policy, etc.).
