Product Manager/Senior Product Manager
Uses AI assistants (Claude, OpenAI, Cursor) for rapid prototyping and expects structured, spec-driven AI development — explicitly calls out "not just vibe coding."
About the Role
Saviynt seeks a technically strong, AI-curious Product Manager to lead the Non-Human Identity product area, owning roadmap, product-market fit, and business outcomes. The role blends hands-on AI prototyping, cross-functional leadership, and data-driven product development to deliver identity security capabilities from discovery through GA.
Job Description
Role
Saviynt is hiring a Product Manager / Senior Product Manager for the Non-Human Identity (NHI) product team. The role owns end-to-end product outcomes: strategy, roadmap, financial success, and cross-functional delivery, with a strong emphasis on building and validating AI-enabled solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product outcome and roadmap for NHI Posture and Management from discovery through GA, with clear success metrics tied to business impact.
- Define success criteria for revenue, adoption, retention, and competitive positioning; make prioritization decisions balancing short- and long-term needs.
- Drive product–market fit experiments, run lightweight hypothesis-driven tests, and iterate rapidly on 0→1 capabilities.
- Engage directly with customers during onboarding, discovery, and escalations to ensure customer success and expansion.
- Rapidly prototype concepts using AI platforms (Claude, OpenAI, Cursor, etc.) and build proof-of-concept implementations to validate ideas with working software.
- Instrument products from day one: define metrics, own dashboards, partner with data engineering on telemetry, and use analytics to drive prioritization.
- Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, design, sales, customer success), manage dependencies, run sprint planning, and communicate strategy and roadmap to executives.
- Collaborate with GTM and sales to understand revenue contribution, pipeline influence, and expansion opportunities.
Requirements
- 5–6 years of product management experience, with at least 2 years in a B2B SaaS environment.
- Hands-on experience building with AI tools (Claude, OpenAI APIs, Cursor, or similar) and fluency in structured, spec-driven AI development.
- Strong software development background with production-quality coding experience in one or more of: Go (Golang), Java, Python, JavaScript; ability to reason about system architecture, APIs, and data models.
- Solid grasp of identity and access management concepts (SSO, RBAC, directory services, identity governance) and familiarity with Zero Trust architecture preferred.
- Track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex features on time.
- Exposure to LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, or AI agent workflows.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience at an early-to-mid stage startup wearing multiple hats.
- Hands-on experience building LLM-based applications with frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or RAG patterns.
Security & Compliance (Onboarding/Annual Requirements)
- Complete security & privacy literacy and awareness training during onboarding and annually.
- Review and adhere to Information Security and Privacy policies such as Data Classification, Incident Response, Business Continuity, Mobile Device Policy, Account Management, Access Control, Personnel Security, and Privacy Policy.
