Product Operations Manager
Explicitly calls out "vibe coding" and prompt-driven prototyping; role embeds quick demos and prompt-to-prototype workflows as core practices.
About the Role
Lead the design and implementation of a scalable product operating system that turns strategy into shipped value. Own cross-functional processes, governance, measurement, and AI-enabled prototyping to accelerate product delivery and improve outcomes for customers.
Job Description
Role
The Product Operations Manager will design, build, and run a scalable Product Operating System that converts strategy into measurable outcomes. This role creates standards, ceremonies, governance, and interfaces across Engineering, Data Science, Operations, Product, and GTM teams to reduce handoffs, speed cycles, and improve decision quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and operate organization-wide rituals, standards, and quality bars for product delivery.
- Establish governance frameworks and definitions of Ready/Done with meaningful gates for launches.
- Create seamless cross-functional interfaces between Engineering, Data Science, Operations, Product, Sales, and GTM teams.
- Enable AI-enabled workflows (e.g., prompt-to-PRD, prompt-to-prototype, vibe coding) and build prompt libraries and prototyping patterns.
- Define measurement frameworks, North Star metrics, instrumentation gates, and an experiment cadence to turn data into decisions.
- Implement capacity planning, portfolio management, plan-to-actual tracking, and risk monitoring signals.
- Lead transformation programs to accelerate AI adoption, uplift data governance, and communicate progress to executives.
- Drive launch readiness by orchestrating cross-functional gates (Product, Data, Support, PMM, Risk) and quality acceptance criteria.
- Coach and enable Product Managers and partners on templates, decision hygiene, demo-first storytelling, and operational best practices.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience building product operations, governance, or program-management systems that connect strategy to delivery.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Operations, and GTM organizations.
- Experience defining launch gates, Ready/Done criteria, and production-quality acceptance standards.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled product workflows, prompt-driven prototyping practices, and human-in-the-loop guardrails.
- Track record of implementing measurement frameworks, experimentation cadences, capacity planning, and portfolio health signals.
- Ability to synthesize strategy into repeatable processes, artifacts (PRDs, decision logs), and coaching materials for teams.
- Excellent communication skills for executive updates, cross-functional alignment, and change leadership.
