Role
Machinify is hiring a Product Operations Manager to build a scalable, repeatable Product Operating System that converts strategy into shipped, value-creating outcomes. This role creates organization-wide rituals, standards, governance, measurement, and cross-functional interfaces to accelerate product delivery and improve launch quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and operate the Product Operating System: rituals, standards, quality bars, and decision forums.
- Establish governance frameworks with clear Ready/Done definitions and launch readiness gates across Product, Data, Support, PMM, Risk, and GTM.
- Build cross-functional interfaces between Engineering, Data Science, Operations, Product Management, and Sales/GTM to reduce handoffs and eliminate bottlenecks.
- Pioneer AI-enabled workflows (e.g., prompt-to-PRD, prompt-to-prototype) and integrate “vibe coding”/quick prototypes into the development process.
- Create measurement frameworks: North Star metrics, instrumentation gates, experimentation cadence, and insight engines for data-driven decisions.
- Lead capacity planning, portfolio management, risk monitoring, and plan-to-actual tracking to prioritize high-impact work.
- Drive transformation programs to increase AI adoption, improve data governance, and surface executive-level progress and impact.
- Coach and enable product managers and cross-functional partners on templates, decision hygiene, demo-first storytelling, and operational best practices.
Requirements / Qualifications (expected)
- Proven experience in product operations, program management, or product leadership driving cross-functional delivery and governance at scale.
- Strong skills in designing operating rhythms, launch readiness, portfolio management, and capacity planning.
- Experience applying AI-enabled workflows or collaborating with Data Science/AI teams; familiarity with prompt-driven prototyping and human-in-loop guardrails.
- Track record of creating measurement systems, experimentation frameworks, and connecting metrics to outcomes.
- Excellent cross-functional communication, stakeholder management, and coaching capabilities.
- Comfortable leading transformation programs and presenting to leadership/executive audiences.
