Role
Product Owner (Digital Health Platform) responsible for the strategic development and reliable operation of a digital care platform. Acts as the central interface between internal stakeholders, external partners and the development team to ensure a user-centered, technically sound and compliant product.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform research, prototyping and architecture decisions using agentic/vibe coding and AI tools.
- Translate requirements into concrete features that improve patient outcomes, efficiency and regulatory compliance.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog by business value, technical feasibility and regulatory requirements.
- Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria; collaborate closely with development and QA to deliver high-quality releases on schedule.
- Participate in planning, reviews and retrospectives in an agile environment.
- Manage stakeholders across medical experts, regulatory affairs, operations and marketing; communicate progress and priorities.
- Promote user-centric product development; analyze usage data and feedback to continuously optimize the platform and track relevant KPIs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM or equivalent qualification.
- 3–5 years of professional experience as an engineer or product owner, ideally in healthcare, MedTech or SaaS.
- Experience with digital health applications, telemedicine, patient portals or clinical workflow systems.
- Knowledge of relevant health regulations and standards (e.g., DSGVO/GDPR, MDR, ISO 13485, HL7/FHIR).
- Familiarity with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) and working with cross-functional teams.
- Technical understanding of AI and software development; experience with agentic coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) is desired.
- Strong communication and moderation skills; fluent in German and English.
- Ideally certified as a Product Owner (CSPO, PSPO) or equivalent.
