Job Description
Role
As Product Owner Price Optimization you will define, build and evolve globally impactful AI-powered pricing and yield products. You will own business performance and KPIs, prioritize the backlog, drive fast evidence-based decisions, and act as the communication bridge between data science, engineering and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive development of AI-powered pricing products using rapid prototyping and vibe coding approaches
- Lead design, building and evaluation of pricing algorithms and statistical models
- Explore, query and interpret complex datasets to surface actionable insights
- Define and monitor KPIs and own product business performance
- Prioritize backlog and make data-informed, timely decisions using AI-augmented analytics
- Co-create and evolve pricing and yield vision and roadmap
- Communicate progress, trade-offs and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels
Requirements
- Solid knowledge and hands-on exposure in Pricing and/or Yield Management and AI-based optimization models
- University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, Business Economics, or equivalent Product Owner experience
- Experience driving data-informed decisions in agile environments
- Strong command of analytics tools and database querying (Python, SQL)
- Confidence in vibe coding and independently building quick prototypes
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex data into business language and building consensus
- AI-literate, self-sufficient in data exploration
- Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
