Role
Product Specialist (Standardsoftware / Banking) working with msg for banking to analyze banking customer requirements and serve as the interface between customers, product management and IT development. You will own the process from requirements capture through conception to configuration, contribute ideas to improve the core product and support backlog prioritization alongside the Product Owner.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders, product management and development
- Capture and analyze bank-specific requirements and translate them into IT solutions
- Own the end-to-end process from requirements gathering to conception and configuration
- Prioritize the product backlog together with the Product Owner and contribute suggestions to enhance the product
- Work in agile, cross-functional teams, create prototypes and leverage AI-based tools (Vibe Coding) in the development process
Requirements
- Completed STEM degree or comparable vocational qualification
- Ideally some initial exposure to working at a software vendor or in a similar environment (not mandatory)
- Interest in banking domain knowledge and enthusiasm for AI-driven approaches
- Technical affinity, strong analytical skills and a structured working style
- Strong communication skills, team orientation and self-initiative
- Very good German and English skills (each at least C1)
