Role
Variance InfoTech is hiring a Python/Django Developer with 3–5 years of experience to build production-grade backend systems using AI-assisted development. The developer will define architectural blueprints, direct AI agents to generate code, and manually implement or correct complex logic to ensure reliability, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Use AI agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf) to prototype and deploy core Python backend services.
- Design high-level architecture and structural blueprints that enforce separation of concerns and SOLID principles.
- Rigorously review and “vibe check” AI-generated code to identify logic flaws, security issues, and performance bottlenecks.
- Implement mission-critical Python logic manually when AI reasoning is insufficient (e.g., custom memory management, complex concurrency).
- Drive automated testing efforts (unit, integration, end-to-end) using AI to achieve comprehensive coverage.
- Rapidly iterate on business requirements to deliver working software in short cycles.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Deep mastery of Python 3.12+, including internals (GIL, asyncio, type hinting).
- Expert-level proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Windsurf, or Claude Code and familiarity with composer/agentic modes.
- Strong prompt engineering skills to create precise, spec-driven prompts that yield production-ready code.
- Extensive experience with FastAPI or Django, especially building high-performance, async-first applications.
- Ability to prompt and create Dockerfiles, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment scripts for AWS or GCP.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building call analytics or CRM backend systems.
- Portfolio of projects built primarily via AI orchestration.
- Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) for providing agents context about local environments.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: Up to ₹45,000.00 per month.
