Role
We are hiring a Python/FastAPI or Python/Django backend developer to build AI-native platforms powered by agentic AI workflows and open-source LLMs. The role emphasizes developing scalable REST APIs, integrating LLM prompting and tool-calling, and deploying and maintaining cloud-hosted platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Create scalable REST APIs using FastAPI and Django Rest Framework.
- Develop and maintain web applications from concept through deployment.
- Integrate agentic frameworks, workflows, LLM prompting, and tool calling into the backend.
- Deploy, manage, and maintain platforms on cloud providers and build CI/CD pipelines and monitoring systems.
- Use vibe coding tools (e.g., Windsurf, Cursor) to speed development and rapid prototyping.
- Improve system scalability using threads, workers, queues, and asynchronous processing.
- Follow through on tasks using a Kanban board and maintain a bug-free codebase.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (mandatory) with strong academic performance.
- 1–2 years of experience as a Python backend developer (mandatory).
- Expert-level Python combined with FastAPI or Django (mandatory).
- Demonstrated experience and strong comfort with Linux systems (mandatory).
- Experience with databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
- Expertise with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools; experience building CI/CD and monitoring systems.
- Ability to learn emerging programming paradigms, write clean commented code, and collaborate effectively.
- Should have live projects and a GitHub profile.
