[Remote] Senior Member of Technical Staff- AI Code Assistant Tools Experience- Oracle Health

Role

As a Senior Member of Technical Staff on Oracle Health, you will design and implement next-generation AI-first EHR platform components and cloud-scale services. You will leverage AI-assisted coding tools and “vibe coding” practices to accelerate development, increase productivity, and maintain architectural rigor.

Key Responsibilities

• Use AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Codex, Claude, Cline, ChatGPT) to streamline design, code generation, debugging, and prototyping.
• Introduce, promote, and continuously improve AI-powered productivity enhancements and best practices across the engineering team.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain robust, scalable, and maintainable EHR platform components and APIs.
• Collaborate across technical and non-technical teams to deliver AI-powered features and exceptional user experiences.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging AI-assisted development methodologies and tooling to improve productivity and code quality.
• Work closely with technical leads to ensure architectural rigor, security, and maintainability throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in at least one (preferably two) of: Java, C/C++, Golang.
• Demonstrated experience using AI-based IDEs and integrating AI-assisted coding into development workflows (examples: Codex, Claude, Cline).
• Experience using large language models such as ChatGPT or Claude.
• Experience leveraging MCP Tools/Servers and familiarity with multi-tool orchestration and skills-based frameworks.
• Familiarity with “vibe coding” approaches that blend hands-on coding with AI-driven tooling for rapid prototyping and iteration.
• Strong understanding of core computer science concepts: data structures, algorithms, operating systems, distributed systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to lead projects across organizational boundaries and represent work to senior stakeholders.
• Containers and Kubernetes experience, and knowledge of scalable, reliable workflows is a plus.

• Prior experience modernizing clinical applications or EHR systems.
• Interest in accessibility, usability, and cross-platform support for healthcare applications.
