Role
Salesforce Agentforce Developer on a 12+ month W2 contract supporting a health insurance client. This hybrid role requires residence in the local DMV area with regular in-office days (weekly or bi‑weekly) at client offices in Maryland, DC, and/or Northern Virginia. Hourly pay rate: $50/hr.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, review, deploy, and maintain Salesforce applications and integrations for claims data processing systems.
- Implement new Salesforce functionality and enhance existing applications; handle coding, testing, debugging, and day‑to‑day issue resolution.
- Design system changes and analyze requirements to implement fixes and enhancements, staying current with Salesforce releases and features.
- Create unit tests and support automation testing to ensure high quality deliverables; perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, business analysts, project managers, and product owners to deliver solutions on time and to spec.
- Produce technical documentation and share knowledge with team members; provide technical oversight to project teams.
Requirements
Minimum
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related IT field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 1 year of experience building, deploying, and supporting Salesforce applications and platform solutions.
- Experience with Agentforce 360.
Preferred
- Experience with Salesforce development technologies: Lightning Web Components, Apex (Triggers and Classes), Flow, Visualforce, SOQL.
- Web programming experience: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Experience building REST APIs and integrating external systems.
- Knowledge of object‑oriented design patterns and Salesforce data modeling best practices.
- Experience developing reports and dashboards in Salesforce.
- Familiarity with JIRA (Agile collaboration) and source control systems such as Git or SVN.
- Experience with multi‑cloud architectures and AWS cloud development (plus).
- Experience in Salesforce call center setups, CI/CD pipelines like Copado, and Data 360 (all pluses).
- Understanding of AI and experience with Agentforce DX or Agentforce “vibes” is a plus.
