(Senior) Agentic/AI Software Engineer (m/w/d) - Fokus Backend (Go / Kotlin)
Emphasizes agentic development and deep Context Engineering with LLMs rather than casual "vibe-coding"; integrates AI tooling into the dev lifecycle.
About the Role
Senior Agentic/AI Software Engineer focused on backend systems using Go and Kotlin to design, build and scale cloud-native services that integrate LLMs and AI tooling. The role leads projects, mentors engineers, defines APIs and ensures performance, security and test quality from prototype to production.
Job Description
Role

- Design and operate high-performance Go or Kotlin systems with cloud-native principles.
- Integrate AI-native engineering practices, LLMs and deep Context Engineering into the development lifecycle.
- Mentor and lead other engineers, conduct code reviews, and establish best practices.
- Ensure performance, security and strong test coverage; work within CI/CD pipelines and Clean Code paradigms.
- Define and implement API interfaces (REST and asynchronous APIs) and collaborate with frontend (Vue.js/Angular) and mobile (Kotlin Multiplatform) teams.
Requirements
- Several years of hands-on experience building backend systems with Go or Kotlin.
- Practical computer science background or equivalent professional experience.
- Deep knowledge of integrating AI tooling into software development (prompt design, context engineering, AI-coding tools).
- Experience in technical leadership or strong mentoring of developer teams.
- Business fluent German and very good English.
- Strong emphasis on performance, security, testing and cloud-native best practices.
Nice-to-have
- Practical familiarity with frontend frameworks (Vue.js, Angular).
