Senior AI Developer
Explicitly requires vibe coding and AI-assisted prototyping, using LLMs and AI code tools to go from concept to prototype in days.
About the Role
Senior AI Developer at Siemens responsible for translating optimized business processes into production-ready automation solutions using AI-native methods. The role rapidly designs, prototypes, tests, and deploys RPA, Intelligent Automation, and AI components using LLMs, vibe coding, and AI-assisted development tools.
Job Description
Role
The Senior AI Developer (Digital Solutions Consultant) translates reengineered process specifications into deployed automation solutions across RPA, Intelligent Automation (IA), and AI/ML. You will own the full solution lifecycle β concept mapping, solution design, rapid prototyping, testing, deployment, and stabilization β using AI-assisted methods to compress delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Classify automation opportunities from optimized processes and map components to RPA, IA, or AI/ML.
- Design modular, scalable automation architectures and define data, integration, exception handling, and fallback mechanisms.
- Rapidly prototype using vibe coding and AI-assisted development; produce interactive proofs-of-concept for stakeholders.
- Use LLMs and generative AI for architecture exploration, design documentation, and automated test-case generation.
- Build and configure RPA bots (attended and unattended), intelligent document processing, NLP classifiers, conversational interfaces, and LLM-powered agents.
- Integrate solutions with enterprise platforms (Workday, ServiceNow, SAP, HR systems) and maintain API integrations.
- Employ AI-assisted testing for regression, edge-case coverage, model validation (accuracy, bias, drift), and drive UAT.
- Run compressed AI-accelerated sprints, maintain live delivery dashboards, and coordinate delivery governance and go-live readiness.
- Prepare deployment runbooks, rollback plans, hypercare protocols, and support operational handover and knowledge transfer.
- Support maintenance and updates to ontologies and the Enterprise Knowledge Graph; help build data pipelines and semantic context for LLMs.
Requirements
- 6β12 years in digital solutions, automation engineering, or AI/ML solution delivery with progressive hands-on experience.
- Minimum 3 years hands-on RPA development or solution architecture on at least one major RPA platform.
- Minimum 2 delivered AI/ML projects (LLM applications, IDP, NLP, conversational AI, predictive analytics, or classification engines).
- Demonstrable experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Replit Agent).
- Experience building bionic agents or humanβAI collaborative workflows.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python strongly preferred) and familiarity with API integrations.
- Experience in HR technology, H2R processes, or enterprise automation programs.
- Ability to create solution designs that are enterprise-grade, integration-ready, and production-focused.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel).
- Familiarity with enterprise AI platforms (Azure AI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI).
- Experience with intelligent document processing platforms (ABBYY, UiPath Document Understanding, Azure AI Document Intelligence).
- Knowledge of responsible AI practices: bias detection, explainability, and model governance.
- Experience with GBS / multi-geography shared services automation programs.
Location & Working Arrangements
This role is based in Bangalore with travel to other locations in India and globally as needed.
