Kogan.com is hiring a Senior AI Engineer to build and embed autonomous agents and AI-driven systems across the business. You will report to the CEO and CTO and lead high-priority projects that optimise operations and deliver competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with teams across the company to design and deliver AI solutions that accelerate work and shipping cadence.
- Work one-on-one with executive leadership on high-impact, special projects.
- Build, test, and ship production-ready software rapidly using AI-assisted development practices.
- Stand up and operate autonomous agents and multi-agent workflows (examples cited include OpenClaw, LangGraph, CrewAI, n8n, Make.com).
- Implement Human-in-the-Loop checkpoints and approval gates to protect high-stakes production workflows.
- Integrate agents securely with the e-commerce stack, ERPs, CRM, and internal databases and maintain robust, secure connections.
- Monitor and optimise LLM API usage and associated costs.
Requirements
- Proven track record of building and shipping real, production software with strong systems architecture and API integration experience.
- Experience deploying multi-agent systems and workflow automation in production (OpenClaw, n8n, Make.com, CrewAI, LangGraph or equivalent).
- Strong operational security practices for agent deployment: containerisation, permission allowlists, sandboxing, and protections against prompt injection and data leakage.
- Ability to optimise LLM API usage and control token/billing costs.
- Fast-moving, autonomous builder who can prototype and deliver solutions quickly.
