Role
Senior engineer embedded with operational business teams to design, deliver, and productionize LLM and agentic AI systems. The role focuses on turning prototypes into secure, governed, monitored production services and building reusable accelerators (prompts, agent templates, reference architectures, internal libraries) to speed future work.
Key Responsibilities
- Embed with operational teams to scope, build, and ship AI solutions for live business problems.
- Take LLM and agentic systems from prototype to production, owning security, data governance, and operational handover.
- Build reusable accelerators including prompt and agent templates, reference architectures, and internal libraries.
- Establish MLOps/AIOps foundations: CI/CD for models and agents, model registries, evaluation pipelines, monitoring, and versioning.
- Lead cross-functional squads without formal authority and set engineering, documentation, and responsible-AI standards.
Requirements
Must have
- 6–10 years building software with recent hands-on delivery of production AI.
- Practical experience with production LLMs and agentic AI, including RAG, orchestration, and multi-step agent workflows.
- Strong Python and MLOps skills (CI/CD, model registries, monitoring, evaluation pipelines).
- Experience in AI evaluation and cost optimization: groundedness/hallucination detection, A/B and regression testing, model routing, and caching.
- Ability to work with non-technical stakeholders to identify real problems and drive delivery end to end with minimal direction.
Nice to have
- Experience in ports, logistics, free zone, or freight operations (TOS, gate and yard, customs documentation).
- GCC or multi-country regional experience and Arabic language skills.
- Platform engineering or internal developer tooling experience.
- AI/ML, cloud, or MLOps certifications.
