Role
As a Senior AI Product Designer you will shape how customers interact with AI across Treasure Data’s platform, translating complex AI and data capabilities into clear, trustworthy, and visually compelling user experiences. You will own design direction, set interaction and visual standards, contribute to the design system, and drive delivery with product and engineering partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design of complex product experiences from early concept through launch and iteration.
- Define interaction patterns for AI features (prediction, personalization, automation) to instill user confidence.
- Drive visual exploration and craft high-fidelity UI with strong attention to hierarchy, typography, color, and detail.
- Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to integrate AI recommendations, automation, and insights into workflows.
- Plan UX strategy, define deliverables and timelines, and advocate for user-centered design decisions.
- Conduct user research and usability testing focused on AI adoption, trust, and usability; iterate based on insights.
- Define and document design patterns for AI explainability, feedback loops, and user control and contribute to the design system.
- Leverage AI tools and plugins in daily workflows to generate ideas and automate tasks; model human–AI collaboration.
- Advocate for ethical, transparent, and user-centered AI experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of product design experience with a portfolio demonstrating discovery, interaction design, prototyping, and high-fidelity visual execution.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability best practices, and information architecture.
- Expert visual design skills and mastery of hierarchy, typography, whitespace, and color.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on pixel-perfect execution and consistency.
- Proficiency in Figma; experience contributing to or managing design systems is a strong plus.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and able to adapt to shifting priorities.
- Strong communication, collaboration, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience with marketing technology or complex B2B/Enterprise products is a plus.
- Ethical mindset toward AI, and experience or interest in human–AI interaction and emerging UX methodologies.
Location & Travel
- Hybrid: role requires working out of the Mountain View, California office according to the company’s Global Hybrid Working Policy.
- Travel: up to approximately 25% travel for client visits.
