Role
The Senior Associate, Financial Solutions develops financial planning methodologies, conducts research to answer core planning questions (e.g., retirement timing, debt vs. investing, healthcare needs), and translates methodology into prototypes and digital tools for representatives and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct financial planning research and assist in creation of planning methodologies and related collateral.
- Identify and access data needed for methodology research and development.
- Evaluate the impact of financial planning frameworks on customer behavior and outcomes.
- Design and develop prototypes and collaborate with technology partners to implement them.
- Communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders and collaborate cross-functionally with Technology, Platform, Analytics, Product, Legal, and Compliance teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- 1–3 years of relevant financial services experience.
- Experience with quantitative model construction, data analytics and/or data science.
- Programming experience in languages such as Python, R, SQL, Java, and VBA.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills; strong passion for data and financial planning.
- Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences; ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- Interest in financial planning and pursuing the CFP designation is preferred.
- Working knowledge of generative AI and Vibe coding is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $85,000 - $171,000 USD per year.
- Total compensation may include bonus or other variable compensation depending on position and eligibility.
