Senior BI Analyst | Mandarin Speaking

Role

Senior individual-contributor BI Analyst responsible for shaping how the company measures success, owning KPIs and reporting frameworks, and delivering decision-ready dashboards and analysis. You will partner closely with Trading, Sales, Marketing, Product and Risk and present findings to senior stakeholders and C-level sponsors.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into clean data solutions and decision-ready metrics.
• Design, build and maintain production Power BI dashboards with rigorous data modelling, performance tuning and version-controlled semantic definitions.
• Write complex SQL (joins, window functions, CTEs) against large production datasets for ETL and analysis.
• Own business metrics, KPI definitions and reporting frameworks, including field-level metric dictionaries and versioning.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses on customer behaviour, trading activity, funnel conversion and revenue drivers and produce testable recommendations.
• Use modern AI tools and “vibe coding” workflows to accelerate analysis, prototype dashboards and automate repetitive BI tasks.
• Communicate findings clearly to senior stakeholders and drive execution to close the loop.

Requirements

• 5–8 years in data analysis / BI / analytics roles, with at least 2 years in a Senior IC capacity.
• Strong SQL skills: multi-table joins, window functions, CTEs, aggregations and performance tuning on large fact tables.
• Hands-on production Power BI experience: dashboard design, data modelling (star schema), DAX, RLS and semantic model governance.
• Strong business acumen and ability to connect metrics to real-world outcomes.
• Comfortable using AI tools (Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT) and modern data workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; confident stakeholder management up to C-level.
• Strong execution mindset and ownership.

Nice to Have

• Direct exposure to CFD / MT4 / MT5 data models (trades, positions, P&L, spreads, slippage).
• CFA or related finance qualifications or degree.
• Experience with dbt, Snowflake, Databricks or similar modern data stacks.
• Prior work on semantic layer / metric dictionary projects.
• Exposure to AML / compliance reporting, risk reporting, or broker P&L attribution.
