Senior Data Engineering Analyst contributing to Optum’s data engineering efforts in healthcare. The role focuses on building, operating, and orchestrating data solutions and AI agent integrations to support analytics and healthcare workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Support key initiatives and work across time zones (offshore coordination and flexible schedules).
- Develop and orchestrate AI agents and integrate tools (MCP, Lang graph, langchain, Agno Framework, etc.).
- Implement and maintain data engineering pipelines and platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Postgres).
- Use scripting and programming for data processing and automation (Unix shell scripts, Perl, Python).
- Collaborate with internal and external customers and present results; lead and mentor team members.
- Comply with employment terms, company policies, and be adaptable to changes in location, teams, and work arrangements.
Requirements
- B.E / B.Tech / MCA / M.Tech / MS degree.
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering.
- Hands-on experience with AI agent development and orchestration and tool integration (MCP, Lang graph, langchain, Agno Framework).
- Experience with vibe coding using co-pilot / GitHub Co-pilot.
- Knowledge of Databricks, Snowflake, PostgresSQL, Unix Shell Script, Perl, Python.
- Experience with cloud technologies and orchestration (Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, Airflow).
- Healthcare domain knowledge (FHIR resources, customer/member, claims, provider data).
- Strong communication, presentation skills, and ability to lead teams and work independently.
