Senior Engineer - UI

Role

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Techblocks you will design, develop, and optimize modern, responsive web applications using React JS and Next JS. You will implement front-end engineering best practices, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to code quality and project planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop modern, responsive web applications using React JS and Next JS.
• Implement state management, performance optimization, and accessibility best practices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to coding standards.
• Create and maintain automated tests and perform UI testing using tools like Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Collaborate with QA to perform functional and API testing (e.g., Postman).
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on best practices and coding standards.
• Work with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines to manage source control and deployments.
• Debug and troubleshoot production and development issues; ensure timely resolution.
• Stay current with emerging web development trends and technologies.

Requirements

• 6 to 8 years of relevant experience with React JS.
• Strong front-end engineering skills including state management, performance optimization, accessibility, and testing.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Experience or familiarity with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Experience writing maintainable, well-structured code and participating in code reviews.
• Familiarity with “vibe coding” and experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot) is noted as relevant.
