Role
Senior Frontend Developer (m/w/d) based in Köln, full-time. You will work in a cross-functional team to design and implement a leading master data system in the outdoor advertising domain, deliver new features, ensure high performance and code quality, and take on mentoring responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceive and implement features for a master data system in collaboration with product and backend teams.
- Develop, test and maintain frontend code with a strong focus on test automation and performance.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and collaborate closely with Fachbereiche and backend teams.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor colleagues and share technology knowledge within the team.
Requirements
- Completed degree, vocational training or equivalent experience in computer science or related field.
- Solid experience developing web applications with Angular and declarative/reactive programming using Observables.
- Experience or strong interest in prompting Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI.
- Ideally experience with frontend development for mobile/responsive devices, prototyping and vibe coding with AI-first tools.
- Proficient in German and English.
Tech stack
Angular 20 with NGXS for state management; testing with Jest, Cypress and Playwright; cloud and CI/CD on Azure, Azure DevOps, Docker and Azure Static Web Apps; backend stack includes Python, Django REST Framework and MSSQL; collaboration tools Jira and Confluence. Prototyping/AI tools referenced include Figma, Make, Lovable and Claude.
