Senior Full Stack Developer responsible for owning frontend and backend architecture end-to-end. Build modern, responsive UIs with React, Angular, or Vue and implement scalable backend solutions using PHP (Laravel) or Python with Node.js. Drive technical direction, system design, integrations, and delivery in an Agile environment while leveraging AI-assisted development tools responsibly.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement responsive, performant user interfaces using React, Angular, or Vue.
Design and implement scalable backend architectures using Python with Node.js or Laravel with Node.js.
Optimize application performance, ensure security across the stack, and manage database schema and query performance.
Integrate third-party services and RESTful APIs into systems.
Provide mentorship and code reviews to junior developers; document technical workflows and processes.
Plan and execute project sprints: estimate tasks, manage risks, and report progress to stakeholders.
Make architectural decisions balancing speed, scalability, and maintainability.
Use AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) to accelerate development and prototyping while applying engineering judgment to validate and refactor AI-generated code.

Requirements

8+ years of relevant full-stack development experience; strong hands-on expertise in at least one modern frontend framework: React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, component-based architecture, state management, and responsive design.
Experience integrating frontends with RESTful APIs and backend services built in PHP/Laravel or Python/Node.js.
Backend experience (one or both stacks):
- Python & Node.js: Django, Flask, or FastAPI; API integration; data processing and scripting.
- Laravel & Node.js: Eloquent ORM, Laravel Service Container, Express.js, RESTful APIs, performance optimisation.
Strong Node.js experience and familiarity with modern JS backend frameworks (e.g., Express.js, NestJS).
Database experience with MySQL (required); PostgreSQL and MongoDB are a plus.
Proficiency with Git and Bitbucket; strong API design and integration skills.
Knowledge of application performance strategies (caching, load balancing, monitoring).
Comfortable using AI coding assistants responsibly for prototyping, generation, debugging, and code review.
Strong communication, leadership, adaptability, and mentoring skills; experience working in Agile environments.

Nice to Have

Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (especially Cloud Functions), AWS, or Azure.
Experience with Docker for containerization and deployments.
Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines and TDD workflows.
Exposure to mobile or cross-platform frameworks (React Native, Flutter).

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
At least 8 years of full-stack development experience and a portfolio of past projects.
Prior experience working in Agile and remote team environments; strong decision-making and proactive problem-solving abilities.
