Role
The Senior Interaction Designer shapes how users interact with digital experiences across websites, landing pages, conversational UI, AI-powered features, and generative content. The role focuses on interaction patterns, motion, responsive behaviors, and scalable interaction frameworks that support dynamic, CMS-driven, and AI-assisted content.
Key Responsibilities
- Design interaction behavior, responsiveness, and motion for digital interfaces to drive engagement and conversion.
- Contribute to and evolve design systems with interaction logic, motion principles, constraints, and guardrails.
- Create prototypes to validate interaction concepts, anticipate edge cases, and resolve usability challenges.
- Collaborate closely with UX designers, visual designers, strategists, and developers to deliver buildable experiences.
- Optimize interaction designs for accessibility and performance across devices and input methods.
- Present interaction solutions to clients and internal stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
- Mentor and lead interaction discipline practices within the design team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in interaction design or related digital design roles.
- Deep understanding of UX best practices and experience designing complex interfaces and interaction systems.
- Strong prototyping skills and experience communicating interaction behavior.
- Experience contributing to or working within design systems and designing for variable/CMS-driven content.
- Advanced proficiency with Figma and related prototyping/design tools.
- Preferred experience with motion and interaction tools (After Effects, Principle, ProtoPie, or similar).
- Experience designing interfaces that incorporate AI-generated content, conversational UI, or adaptive/personalized features.
- Experience using AI-powered design and prototyping tools (e.g., AI features within Figma, code-generation tools, prompt-based workflows).
- Bachelor’s degree in design, HCI, UX, or equivalent experience preferred; strong portfolio required.
