Job Description
Role
As a Senior Interaction Designer on Google Keep, you will craft intuitive, cross-platform user experiences for a note-taking and list-making product used across devices. You will work from concept to execution, creating user flows, wireframes, mockups, and realistic prototypes while collaborating closely with engineers, product managers, and other UX partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design projects to evolve the Google Keep experience for capturing ideas and managing to-dos.
- Own cross-platform feature design, ensuring consistency and quality across devices and modalities.
- Collaborate with Workspace teams to integrate Keep into the broader productivity ecosystem.
- Advocate for user-centric product strategy and improvements to keep the interface fast and intuitive.
- Partner with engineering and product management to deliver refined, polished updates from concept through launch.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 6 years of interaction design experience in product or UX design.
- Experience designing, building, or launching consumer-facing products.
- Portfolio or website demonstrating relevant work (include link or access instructions in resume).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in design, HCI, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience leveraging vibe coding and AI-assisted workflows to accelerate prototyping and design cycles.
- Proficiency in Figma, including auto-layout, variables, and scalable component libraries.
- Experience taking features from concept to launch in greenfield or 0-to-1 product environments.
- Ability to design seamless interfaces across platforms and create realistic animated prototypes (videos, GIFs, transitions).

Compensation & Location
- US base salary range: $151,000 - $222,000 (plus bonus, equity, benefits).
