Role
Senior iOS UX Engineer on the Google Search team responsible for designing and delivering production-ready prototypes and user-facing features on iOS. You will partner with Engineering and Product to test feasibility, surface technical constraints, and translate design intent into high-quality implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Create prototypes for iteration, research, and validation across a portfolio of products.
- Launch innovative features and build tools to accelerate UX teams.
- Identify emerging needs and develop interaction design best practices and pattern documentation.
- Manage or contribute to key projects and collaborate closely with engineers to understand production stack capabilities and limitations.
- Advocate for holistic systems-thinking and user needs across platforms.
Requirements
Minimum
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in iOS development, technical UX design, and prototyping.
Preferred
- At least 3 years of experience in Swift or Objective-C.
- Experience with vibe coding tools including AI Studio, Cursor, Antigravity, and Firebase Studio.
- Knowledge of technical constraints for iOS design and familiarity with full tech stacks and production environments.
- Strong leadership, communication, project management, and organizational skills.

- US salary range: $159000 - $230000 (USD) plus 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
