Role
Replit is hiring a Senior Manager, Sales Development to lead and scale the inbound SDR organization, build processes and playbooks, hire and coach SDRs, and ensure consistent lead follow up and pipeline generation across SMB to Enterprise segments. This is a full-time role with an in-office expectation of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in the Salt Lake City area.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, lead, and scale a high-performing Sales Development Representative (SDR) team.
- Develop and implement SDR processes, playbooks, and best practices for inbound and warm-outbound channels.
- Coach and mentor SDRs on qualification methodology, objection handling, and pipeline generation techniques.
- Partner with sales leadership on territory assignments, quotas, performance metrics, and lead handoff processes.
- Collaborate with marketing to optimize lead routing, campaign effectiveness, and lead quality & conversion.
- Analyze team performance data and implement strategies to improve conversion rates and meeting quality.
- Recruit, hire, and onboard SDRs; maintain CRM hygiene and reporting accuracy.
- Ensure smooth handoffs and feedback loops with Account Executives and uphold team quota attainment.
- Stay current on industry trends and the competitive landscape to inform team strategy.
Requirements
Required
- 4+ years of sales development experience with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role (preferably with a technical ICP).
- Proven track record of building and scaling SDR teams, ideally in high-growth environments.
- Strong background in inbound prospecting and demand generation strategies.
- Excellent coaching, mentoring, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Data-driven approach to performance management and process optimization.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales tools (examples listed below).
- Ability to recruit, interview, and assess SDR candidates effectively.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with marketing and sales teams.
- Passion for technology and ability to learn and teach technical concepts.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Salt Lake City area; in-office Mon/Wed/Fri.
