Senior Manager, Security Architecture

Role

The Senior Manager, Security Architecture will lead a distributed team responsible for assessing and improving the security architecture of large, complex products. You will plan, prioritize, and deliver in-depth security work, build security tooling to support review processes, engage in technical discussions, and create processes where needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct deep security assessments of applications, cloud, and network components to improve architecture and risk posture.
• Build and deploy security tooling and automation to support review processes.
• Plan, prioritize, and deliver security work against project deadlines.
• Hire, manage, coach, and retain a distributed team of security engineers.
• Participate in technical discussions and create processes to support security operations and reviews.
• Establish and maintain strategic partnerships and operational plans to deliver business results.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in security, including building and deploying security tools and processes.
• 5+ years of leadership and people management experience.
• Defensive or offensive security experience.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and build strategic partnerships.
• Proven track record of attracting and retaining high-performing employees.
• Experience in complex decision-making and developing/executing operational plans.
• Thorough understanding of common security assessment processes and how they fit into the software development lifecycle.

Nice to Have

• Software development experience.
• Understanding of cloud development and scaling application security or software assurance.
• Knowledge of commonly used programming languages such as C, Java, Python, Go, Vibe Coding, Apex.
