Role
As a Senior Member of Technical Staff on the Oracle Health team, you will design and build next-generation, AI-first Electronic Health Record (EHR) capabilities and cloud-scale services. You will work with technical leads to apply sound design principles and engineering innovations, adopting AI-assisted coding and “vibe coding” practices to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and maintain robust, scalable EHR platform components and APIs.
- Accelerate development and time-to-market by integrating AI-assisted coding tools into workflows (e.g., Codex, Claude, Cline).
- Introduce and promote AI-powered productivity enhancements and best practices across engineering teams.
- Collaborate across technical and non-technical teams to deliver new AI-powered features and exceptional user experiences.
- Work with technical leads to enforce architectural rigor, security, and maintainability throughout the product lifecycle.
- Continuously evaluate and integrate emerging AI-assisted development methodologies and tooling.
Requirements / Qualifications
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in at least one (preferably two) of: Java, C/C++, Golang.
- Demonstrated experience using AI-based IDEs and integrating AI-assisted coding into development workflows.
- Experience using models such as ChatGPT or Claude and tools such as Codex or Cline.
- Experience leveraging MCP Tools/Servers and familiarity with multi-tool orchestration and skills-based frameworks.
- Strong understanding of core CS concepts: data structures, algorithms, operating systems, distributed systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to lead projects and work across organizational boundaries.
- Enthusiasm for learning and quickly adapting to new tools and emerging technology trends.
- Experience with containers and Kubernetes is a plus.
Preferred / Nice-to-have
- Hands-on experience championing and accelerating adoption of modern development practices.
- Prior work building clinical applications or healthcare platforms.
