Role

Senior Member of Technical Staff responsible for designing and building next‑generation, AI‑first EHR platform components. The role focuses on developing cloud‑scale, distributed services and user interfaces that improve clinician experience by integrating generative AI, AI‑assisted coding workflows, and open APIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy robust, scalable EHR platform components and APIs.
• Leverage AI‑assisted coding tools and “vibe coding” practices (e.g., Codex, Claude, Cline, ChatGPT) to accelerate development, code generation, and debugging.
• Promote and guide adoption of AI‑powered productivity enhancements and best practices across engineering teams.
• Collaborate with technical leads and cross‑functional teams to ensure architectural rigor, security, maintainability, and excellent user experiences.
• Continuously evaluate and integrate emerging AI‑assisted development methodologies and tooling.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in at least one (preferably two) of: Java, C/C++, Golang.
• Experience using AI‑based IDEs and models (examples cited: Codex, Claude, Cline, ChatGPT) and integrating AI‑assisted coding into workflows.
• Familiarity with MCP Tools/Servers and multi‑tool orchestration / skills‑based frameworks.
• Strong understanding of core CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, operating systems, distributed systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to lead projects across organizational boundaries and represent technical work to senior stakeholders.
• Enthusiasm for learning new tools and adapting to emerging technologies.
• Experience with containers and Kubernetes is a plus.
