Senior Product Designer, Design System

Role

We are hiring a Senior Product Designer to lead the strategy, architecture, and evolution of the design system for Zeta Developer Platform. This foundational role owns component libraries, design tokens, interaction patterns, accessibility standards, and documentation to ensure cohesive, scalable, production-ready UI across multiple products.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the design system strategy, architecture, and roadmap.
• Define and maintain component libraries, design tokens, and interaction patterns.
• Build production-ready, accessible components and collaborate closely with engineering to ensure fidelity from Figma to code.
• Create and publish documentation, guidelines, and resources to drive consistent implementation and adoption.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to champion adoption, gather feedback, and iterate on the system.
• Define patterns for emerging AI and agentic interactions so they feel native to the platform.
• Operate with high autonomy and accountability over design system decisions.

Requirements

• 8+ years designing digital products with at least 3+ years focused on design systems.
• Proven track record building and scaling design systems used by multiple teams.
• Experience in fast-paced environments balancing speed and quality.
• Strong collaboration experience across design, engineering, and product teams.
• Familiarity with AI-powered tools and emerging design patterns is a plus.

Salary

The posted salary range for this role is $160,000 - $180,000 (range provided depending on location and experience).
