Role
Senior Product Designer — Design System responsible for architecting and evolving the design system for Zeta Developer Platform (launching 2026). This is a foundational role focused on component libraries, design tokens, interaction patterns, documentation, and enabling multiple products to ship consistent, high-quality experiences at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategy, architecture, and evolution of the design system including component libraries, design tokens, interaction patterns, and documentation.
- Create production-ready, accessible components and collaborate with engineering to ensure fidelity from Figma to production.
- Define and document UX patterns, accessibility standards (WCAG), and best practices that guide design and development.
- Drive adoption and enablement across product teams, gather feedback, and iterate on the system based on real-world usage.
- Design patterns and guidelines for emerging AI and agentic interactions to ensure native, cohesive experiences.
- Own decision-making and accountability for the success and quality of the design system.
Requirements
- 8+ years designing digital products with at least 3+ years focused on design systems.
- Proven track record building and scaling design systems used by multiple teams.
- Experience working cross-functionally with design, engineering, and product in fast-paced environments.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/React for building and prototyping components.
- Expert-level Figma skills (component architecture, variants, auto-layout, design tokens).
- Strong understanding of accessibility (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
- Familiarity with AI-powered tools and emerging design patterns is a plus.
