Senior Product Designer, Events and Webinars

Role

As a Senior Product Designer on the Events and Webinars team you will own key areas of Zoom Events and Webinars to create scalable, intuitive experiences across event setup, hosting, attendance, and AI-driven engagement. You will mentor designers, partner with cross-functional teams, and deliver polished visuals, prototypes, and engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact projects across setup, branding, hosting, registration, in-webinar UI, event analytics, and related surfaces.
• Elevate product experience through exceptional visual and interaction design, including layout, spacing, motion, and micro-interactions.
• Partner with product, engineering, research, and accessibility teams to align product direction and deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes.
• Drive end-to-end execution in Figma, producing prototypes and clear engineering-ready specifications.
• Use data-informed design decisions and champion design excellence and consistency across projects.
• Mentor and raise the bar for other designers; collaborate with leadership to maintain clarity and alignment with broader vision.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product design experience or equivalent (BS or equivalent experience preferred).
• Portfolio demonstrating user-centered interaction design for real-time communication or collaboration products and experience managing complex, cross-functional projects across time zones.
• Deep expertise in visual and interaction design with a strong attention to polish and detail.
• Proven experience designing for desktop and mobile with systems thinking and evolving design systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence partners with new design thinking.
• Experience with Figma and prototyping tools; familiarity with prompting and vibe coding for design and prototyping.
• Commitment to accessibility and inclusive design practices.

Compensation & Work Model

• Salary range listed: $124,000 to $271,200 (base). Zoom uses a Total Direct Compensation approach considering base salary, bonus, and equity.
• Role is based in San Jose, CA and follows a structured hybrid approach combining office and remote work.
