Role
Hike Medical is hiring a Senior Product Designer to work across clinician-facing and consumer products, owning design end-to-end and collaborating closely with Product and Engineering. The role is situated in an AI-first, fast-moving environment and focuses on systems-based solutions, design standards, and shaping design culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the entire design process: gather requirements, iterate on visuals, and guide Engineering through implementation.
- Ship high-quality design across complex, multi-surface products that impact patient health.
- Collaborate with design and product leadership on strategic direction and long-term vision.
- Champion and evolve Design Principles and Experience Pillars; mentor other designers.
- Work with modern tooling to move faster and smarter in an AI-first environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years designing both desktop and mobile applications, ideally in complex, compliance-driven industries.
- Strong process thinking; know when to apply or adapt methods.
- Experience with problem framing and running collaboration workshops.
- Deep experience with Design Systems and when to evolve them.
- Fluent in Figma for explorations and high-fidelity prototypes ready for engineering handoff.
- Strong design, creative, and visual skills; delivers appropriate artifacts without over-engineering.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and cross-functional ownership.
