Role
Havenly Brands is hiring a Senior Product Designer to shape experiences across its AI-native interior design platform and eCommerce portfolio. This strategic role partners closely with Product and Engineering, reports to the SVP of Product and Technology, and influences product direction, design standards, and cross-functional alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design for consumer-facing web and mobile products across AI interior design and eCommerce experiences.
- Translate complex customer needs into intuitive solutions that balance business goals with user delight.
- Create and maintain scalable design systems used across multiple brands.
- Produce wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready designs rapidly and with high craft.
- Conduct and synthesize user research (interviews, usability tests, prototype evaluations) to inform design decisions.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to identify opportunities through customer research, data analysis, and competitive insight.
- Communicate design vision and rationale to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders; facilitate strategic collaboration and alignment.
- Contribute to design team culture, processes, and standards; connect design work to measurable business outcomes.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of product design experience on consumer-facing digital products (web and mobile).
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design thinking from research and problem framing through polished UI and measured outcomes.
- Deep expertise in Figma and modern design/prototyping tools.
- Active use of AI tools (examples listed: Claude, ChatGPT, Midjourney, Galileo AI) to accelerate research, ideation, copywriting, prototyping, or production.
- Strong interaction design and visual craft skills (layout, hierarchy, typography, motion, accessibility).
- Experience planning and conducting qualitative user research and translating insights into design direction.
- Excellent communication, strategic thinking, collaboration, and ownership mentality; comfortable shipping and iterating.
Bonus / Nice-to-haves
- Experience designing AI-powered or generative features (recommendations, personalization, conversational UI, visualization tools).
- Background in eCommerce, home/lifestyle, or marketplace products.
- Experience building and scaling design systems.
- Familiarity with Vibe Coding / Agentic Engineering and design-to-code workflows.
- Basic familiarity with front-end development concepts (HTML/CSS/JS).
