Role
Airwallex is hiring a Senior Product Manager for Developer Experience to design and deliver AI-enhanced developer tools and integrations that simplify how developers integrate with Airwallex financial products. The role requires close collaboration with product and engineering teams across the platform and engagement with the developer community to drive adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and own new AI developer tools (e.g., Airwallex Developer MCP tool), agent development toolkits, and direct integrations with other AI platforms to facilitate testing and integration.
- Monitor developer tooling trends (Cursor, Claude Code, N8N, etc.) and define the product strategy and roadmap for developer experience.
- Identify and improve Client APIs, SDKs, product documentation, webhooks, simulation APIs, and developer portal tools.
- Advocate for and engage with the developer community to drive adoption and growth of AI developer tools.
- Communicate product strategy to technical and non-technical stakeholders and participate in technical and architectural discussions with engineering teams.
- Analyze complex problems using data and first-principles reasoning; take ownership to rapidly implement solutions balancing user needs and commercial strategy.
- Collaborate effectively across cross-cultural and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM discipline.
- Product management experience, ideally in Developer Experience or highly technical domains.
- Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to influence developer communities (social presence is a bonus).
- Attention to detail, data-driven and first-principles problem solving, and the drive to ship quickly.
- Experience balancing user requirements with commercial strategy.
