Role
Salesforce is hiring a Senior Product Manager on the AI Research team to own the lifecycle of AI-powered enterprise solutions. You will define and execute product roadmaps, translate business needs into detailed specifications, lead cross-functional teams from concept to deployment, and ensure products deliver strong user and operational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the product roadmap for AI-powered solutions within AI Research, aligned to business objectives and customer needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify customer pain points and opportunities for AI-driven innovation with a focus on trust and growth.
- Translate high-level business requirements into detailed product specifications and actionable deliverables.
- Lead engineering, design, research, and other cross-functional teams through the product development lifecycle and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Act as a liaison between business, technical teams, and external partners to ensure clear communication and alignment.
- Stay informed on AI trends and advancements and apply them where relevant.
- Employ first-principles problem-solving and work effectively through ambiguity.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience with a proven track record delivering complex technology products, preferably in Enterprise and AI contexts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning and their operational applications; familiarity with AI model development, tuning, and experimentation is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of CRM applications, rules engines, and pricing applications.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and data science.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Analytical mindset; experience using data to drive product decisions and measure success.
- Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping and vibe coding; familiarity with basic Python and web development and the ability to create quick prototypes is a strong plus.
- Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, financial services) is a plus.

Compensation
- Typical base salary range: $172,500 - $260,100 annually
- In select San Francisco and New York City metro locations: $207,800 - $285,800 annually
