About the Role
Senior Product Manager to define and own the platform and ecosystem layer at Shiftmove, shaping reusable capabilities, integrations, and internationalisation across European markets. The role turns ambiguous multi-product challenges into a clear platform roadmap, working closely with Engineering and cross-functional stakeholders to enable scale and cross-sell.
Job Description
Role
You will own the product direction for Shiftmove’s platform and ecosystem layer: deciding what becomes a reusable capability versus market-specific, defining system boundaries, and prioritising work that enables cross-product integrations and European expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Own platform & ecosystem strategy covering integrations, shared workflows, reusable patterns, APIs, and data flows across products and external partners.
- Convert ambiguity into clear product direction: define ownership, priorities, and system boundaries.
- Lead discovery and delivery for core platform capabilities, including reusable integration patterns and interoperability between products.
- Enable European market expansion and internationalisation efforts, starting with France and designing for reuse across future markets.
- Align priorities and move complex cross-product topics forward with Engineering, GTM, Sales, Customer Success, country teams, and senior leadership.
- Protect the team from reactive request intake by setting clear priorities and focusing on long-term platform value.
Requirements
- Proven B2B SaaS product management experience owning end-to-end discovery, prioritisation, delivery, and stakeholder alignment.
- Strong platform and integration thinking: understanding data flows, system boundaries, multi-product architectures, and trade-offs between reusable and one-off solutions.
- AI-native product operations experience: actively using AI in product work (prototyping, vibe coding, discovery synthesis, concept testing).
- Strong discovery and prioritisation skills; able to translate customer, business, and technical needs into clear opportunities.
- Technical fluency with APIs, integrations, and data flows sufficient to have substantive conversations with engineering.
- Business fluent in German and English (C1+) — hard requirement.
How You Work
- Proactive ownership: create clarity and define priorities without waiting for perfect information.
- Willingness to challenge senior stakeholders with evidence-based perspectives.
- Protects team focus and makes trade-offs, including saying no to one-off solutions.
What Success Looks Like (first 6 months)
- Rapidly build understanding of the product portfolio and platform layer.
- Create clarity in an ambiguous domain, define a focused roadmap, and build trust with stakeholders.
- Deliver a roadmap and initial reusable integration and internationalisation capabilities that support scaling and cross-sell.
