Senior Product Manager, Corporate Systems
Explicitly references vibe-coding and Claude Code; role expects using AI assistants and designing AI-enabled workflows to boost throughput and automate corporate tasks.
About the Role
Senior Product Manager responsible for Baldwin Group's Corporate Systems product serving internal executive stakeholders across Marketing, Compliance & Legal, HR, and Finance. Lead strategy, roadmapping, AI-enabled automation pilots, and cross-functional coordination to prioritize and deliver shared-services capabilities on common platform infrastructure.
Job Description
Role
The Senior Product Manager owns the Corporate Systems product within the Growth Services family, delivering shared-services capabilities for Marketing, Compliance & Legal, HR, and Finance. This internal-facing role aligns four executive stakeholders (CMO, General Counsel, CHRO, CFO) and platform teams to maintain a single coherent roadmap, prioritize investments, and advance AI-enabled automation where appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute product vision and strategy for Corporate Systems aligned with company mission and transformation priorities (AI-enabled recruiting, financial modeling/reporting acceleration, investor relations, marketing content generation, legal ops automation).
- Maintain a unified roadmap across Marketing, Compliance & Legal, HR, and Finance, sequencing work using FOUNDATION / NOW / NEXT phases and balancing shared infrastructure constraints.
- Lead validation and pilots of AI-enabled workflows; partner with platform teams to evaluate AI-assisted capabilities and ensure compliance with AI governance (Tier classification, Agent Registry).
- Interface directly with corporate function leaders to gather requirements, coach Product Owners/analysts, and manage executive expectations and trade-offs.
- Collaborate with platform and engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and coordinated changes across shared infrastructure.
- Convert product and feature needs into clear implementation artifacts (e.g., Jira cards) and measure outcomes using enterprise metrics.
Discovery & Experimentation
- Drive structured pilots and human-in-the-loop designs for tools with people, legal, or financial risk (e.g., recruiting screening, contract review).
- Use qualitative interviews and quantitative metrics (content throughput, time-to-hire, close-cycle duration, compliance review turnaround) to validate opportunities and sequence development.
Metrics & Outcomes
- Own KPIs across the four functions: marketing content output and campaign performance; time-to-hire and retention; close-cycle time and reporting accuracy; regulatory/licensing compliance rates.
- Use analytics and stakeholder feedback to iterate on the product and avoid fragmenting into four disconnected mini-products.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of digital product management experience, with significant enterprise/internal-facing systems experience (HR tech, martech, legal tech, FP&A/finance systems), preferably in regulated industries like financial services or insurance.
- Strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and prioritization discipline across competing executive priorities.
- Demonstrated Agile experience and product development process knowledge.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with C-suite and legal stakeholders; ability to say “not yet” while keeping stakeholders engaged.
- Data-driven decision-making abilities; proficiency analyzing disparate function-specific metrics to inform unified product choices.
- AI fluency: experience designing or evaluating AI-assisted internal tooling with people/legal/financial risk implications and defining human-in-the-loop guardrails.
- Experience working with engineering, platform/infrastructure teams, and non-technical corporate function leaders.
- Familiarity with fast-paced, high-leverage teams where AI tooling (vibe-coding, Claude Code) expands throughput.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience owning shared-services or platform products that serve multiple internal business units.
- Familiarity with HR/talent systems (e.g., Workday), martech platforms (e.g., HubSpot), legal/contract review tools, FP&A and financial reporting platforms.
- Experience with project management tools like Jira and analytics tools relevant to HR, marketing, finance, or legal operations.
