Senior Product Manager (Master Data Management)

Role

Senior Product Manager responsible for shaping Pega’s master data and AI-powered data activation capabilities. Lead product strategy and execution for data platform services that enable enterprises to unify, govern, reason over, and activate customer and reference data using modern AI techniques and agent-based architectures. Act as the primary product liaison across engineering, architecture, AI/decisioning teams, applications, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive product strategy and roadmaps for MDM/CDP and enterprise data platform services.
• Own product execution and delivery for platform and infrastructure capabilities used by large enterprises.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, data science, and application teams to design data models, APIs, and platform integrations consumed by AI agents and decision engines.
• Engage with customers and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, validate designs, and influence product direction.
• Present product vision, trade-offs, and investment cases to senior leadership and executive audiences (CEO/CPO/CTO).
• Enable AI/ML-enabled features such as intelligent matching, recommendations, classification, and real-time decisioning.
• Support modern development practices including AI-assisted development, rapid prototyping, and vibe coding.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field; advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in software product management and/or software engineering with significant ownership of platform or infrastructure products for large enterprises.
• Proven product management experience for Master Data Management (MDM), Customer Data Platform (CDP), or enterprise data platform products.
• Hands-on experience with or exposure to platforms such as Informatica, Salesforce Data Cloud, or Azure Dataverse.
• Strong understanding of data and AI architecture concepts, including relational and NoSQL data stores, data modeling, metadata management, APIs, event streaming, and real-time processing.
• Experience with AI/ML systems (intelligent matching, recommendations, classification, decisioning) and familiarity with AI agents or orchestration frameworks.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern SaaS delivery models.
• Familiarity with data governance, security, privacy, and compliance in enterprise environments.
• Ability to read technical designs, engage in architectural trade-offs, and influence cross-functional teams.

Preferred

• Prior experience building or scaling AI-driven data platforms, CDPs, or MDM solutions with embedded intelligence.
• Exposure to generative AI, LLM-based systems, vector search, or hybrid transactional/analytical platforms.
• Experience with teams that leverage AI-assisted development, rapid prototyping, and vibe coding approaches.
• Background as a software engineer, data engineer, or architect before moving into product management.
• Experience preparing executive briefings and leading executive readouts (QBRs/MBRs).
• Experience defining data models and APIs consumed by AI agents, decision engines, or autonomous workflows.

Compensation & Location

• Base salary range: 138,600 - 211,100 USD annually.
• Role is hybrid with a minimum of three days per week in the Waltham, Massachusetts office.
• May be eligible for annual bonus or commission, employee equity, and other benefits.
