Role
As a Senior Product Manager on the Copilot Training, Data and Metrics Platform team, you will define product strategy and technical requirements for a compliant, privacy-preserving data platform that powers Microsoft 365 Copilot. Your work will accelerate time-to-insight and decision-making for internal Copilot builders by enabling dataset ingestion, curation, evaluation, analytics, metrics authoring, dashboards, and feedback loops at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with PMs, engineering, data science, and internal Copilot teams to reduce time-to-ship and time-to-insight.
- Partner engagement and intake: gather evolving data and metric needs, translate into platform requirements, and drive prioritization and intake processes.
- Orchestrate cross-functional strategy and execution across multiple engineering and product teams, aligning roadmaps, dependencies, and milestones.
- Influence data model and schema evolution to support long-term extensibility and partner scenarios.
- Own end-to-end data lifecycle from metric definition to dataset curation, consumption tracking, data quality, discoverability, and compliance.
- Lead dataset onboarding and ensure schema consistency across different dataset types used for feature iteration and evaluation.
- Identify and drive platform investments to reduce data latency and improve agility for experimentation and evaluation.
- Establish and enforce schema governance and consistency practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in product/service/program management or software development, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional execution across engineering and partner teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience driving latency and agility improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ years of product management experience in data platforms or infrastructure.
- Technical fluency and experience in data modeling, big data systems, building data or metrics platforms, or experimentation systems.
- Proficiency with AI tools, including vibe coding and building agents.
- Self-starter with curiosity, adaptability, and a growth mindset.
Compensation
- Typical U.S. base pay range (Product Management IC4): USD 119,800 - 234,700 per year.
- Alternate base pay range for San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area: USD 158,400 - 258,000 per year.
