Explicitly requires vibe coding and rapid experimentation to prototype edge AI experiences and validate product ideas.

About the Role

Senior Product Manager – Technical focused on Edge AI & Applied Science, driving product vision and strategy for experiences enabled by extreme model compression. The role requires hands-on prototyping (vibe coding), building lightweight demos and working artifacts, and partnering with applied scientists and engineers to deliver low-latency, on-device AI experiences.

Job Description

Role

This Senior Product Manager – Technical will own product vision and strategy for edge AI experiences enabled by extreme model compression across vision, language, speech, and multimodal domains. The role is hands-on: you will personally prototype and build early experience concepts (vibe coding, notebooks, scripts, lightweight apps) to explore interaction paradigms and to influence technical direction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own product vision, strategy, and roadmaps for edge AI experiences that leverage aggressive model compression.
  • Personally prototype and build early concepts using vibe coding, scripts, notebooks, and lightweight applications to validate ideas and inform direction.
  • Translate customer needs, technical capabilities, and scientific insights into clear product requirements and success metrics grounded in working prototypes.
  • Partner closely with applied scientists and engineers to evaluate trade-offs across quality, latency, memory, power, and cost through hands-on experimentation.
  • Drive product initiatives end-to-end from concept and experimentation through development, launch, and iteration.
  • Use prototypes, demos, and experiential artifacts to align stakeholders, secure buy-in, and accelerate execution across science, engineering, UX, and leadership.
  • Identify risks, unblock teams, and course-correct to ensure delivery of high-quality, customer-focused outcomes.
  • Measure product success through data, customer signals, and experiential quality; iterate rapidly based on learnings.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, technical product leadership, or equivalent roles delivering complex technical products end-to-end.
  • Proven experience owning product strategy, roadmap definition, and execution with engineering and science teams.
  • Experience with feature delivery and making tradeoffs for a product; experience managing technical products or online services.
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions about technology decisions and strategy; strong technical fluency to engage in architecture and system-level trade-offs.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in highly ambiguous environments and drive clarity through action.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with machine learning systems, edge AI, model compression, or on-device inference.
  • Hands-on experience building or prototyping technical products using code, notebooks, scripts, or experimental frameworks.
  • Experience using analytical tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, or QuickSight.
  • Comfort with vibe coding and rapid experimentation as core product discovery and validation tools.
  • Experience influencing direction through working demos and artifacts rather than only written documentation.
