Senior Python Developer focused on backend engineering and building production-ready agentic GenAI systems. The role combines backend microservices development with LLM fine-tuning, RAG pipeline implementation, vector database integrations, and multi-agent orchestration to deliver scalable, maintainable AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend systems using Python and microservices architecture.
- Build and deploy end-to-end agentic AI systems following modern GenAI patterns.
- Implement and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines integrating vector databases and knowledge sources.
- Perform LLM fine-tuning, model selection, and evaluation across AI models.
- Design and implement multi-agent architectures and orchestration workflows.
- Integrate embeddings and vector databases for intelligent retrieval and search.
- Ensure production readiness with a focus on performance, scalability, maintainability, and CI/CD-driven deployments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply GenAI solutions within payment technology contexts.
- Maintain code quality using version control, CI/CD practices, and containerized deployments.
- Drive experimentation and innovation with emerging GenAI tools and frameworks.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional backend development experience with Python.
- Strong proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Hands-on experience with LLM fine-tuning and model evaluation; embeddings and vector databases; RAG pipelines; MCP and multi-agent architectures; and end-to-end agentic system development.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Strong experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a “get-it-done” mindset.
- Familiarity with Vibe coding tools.
Nice to Have
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Practical understanding of generative AI technologies and real-world applications.
