Role
Senior member of the DACH presales team responsible for owning the technical narrative on strategic and complex enterprise opportunities. Serve as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise buyers, design tailored solutions, lead technical discovery, and support deal execution across Germany, Switzerland and expansion markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with sales to plan, prepare and execute complex enterprise deals across DACH and expansion markets.
- Lead discovery calls and technical deep dives to uncover pain points and business requirements.
- Create and deliver customized product demonstrations and presentations for technical and business audiences.
- Design and recommend solution architectures and articulate NiCE Cognigy’s value proposition.
- Run and support POCs/POVs to prove value in real enterprise environments.
- Represent NiCE Cognigy at customer and marketing events, webinars, and trade shows as a visible thought leader.
- Monitor competitive landscape and perform technical comparisons against other AI Agent platforms.
- Collaborate with product and internal teams to feed customer requirements and enable internal teams.
Requirements
- Tenured track record in presales, sales engineering, or solution consulting managing complex enterprise deals end-to-end.
- Deep experience in enterprise software, ideally within contact center (CCaaS) or automation technologies.
- Hands-on experience presenting AI Agents, agentic AI, conversational AI and generative AI technologies.
- Active use of LLMs and AI tools in daily work (agentic coding assistants, AI app builders, general assistants) for prototyping and accelerating POCs.
- Programming/scripting experience in JavaScript; Java, Python or similar a plus.
- Knowledge of contact center technologies (SIP, SBCs, ACD, ASR, TTS) and experience with conversation, IVR or chatbot design.
- Strong understanding of NLU/NLP and conversational AI technologies, plus UI/UX considerations.
- Excellent communication, presentation and collaboration skills; comfortable presenting at industry events.
- Fluent in German and English; additional regional languages are a plus.
