Senior Software Engineering Lead responsible for full-stack development of scalable web applications on AWS and integrating AI-driven features. The role includes architecture design, mentoring peers, participating in Agile ceremonies, and driving AI-assisted development practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and enhance scalable web applications using AWS services.
- Integrate AI-driven components such as smart search, personalized recommendations, and conversational interfaces.
- Optimize application performance, security, and reliability.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive, responsive, and accessible user experiences.
- Continuously experiment with AI-assisted workflows and apply Vibe coding techniques to improve development velocity and code quality.
- Participate in architecture design, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies (Scrum or Kanban).
- Mentor peers on best practices for AI-assisted development and maintain high code quality via TDD and shift-left testing.
- Use tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Git to manage work and documentation.
- Develop internal tools and automation using GenAI to reduce repetitive work.
Requirements
Required
- 12+ years of experience in full stack development.
- Experience working in Agile teams with solid understanding of Agile principles and ceremonies.
- Solid experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, etc.).
- Proven experience using AI coding assistants (Copilot, Claude, Gemini AI).
- Familiarity with prompt engineering, LLM APIs, and AI-enhanced development workflows.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred
- Experience with GenAI platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Vertex AI.
- Experience building intelligent UI components (chatbots, smart forms, predictive inputs).
- Exposure to serverless architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of ethical AI practices and data privacy considerations.
