Senior Staff Creative Technologist

Role

As a Senior Staff Creative Technologist, you will bridge UX and front-end engineering to conceive, prototype, and implement interactive experiences across web, iOS, and Android. You will partner with designers and researchers to define and deliver features, build high-fidelity prototypes for usability studies, and help drive production-quality implementation and motion polish.

Key Responsibilities

• Test concepts for iteration, research, and validation by conceiving and delivering engaging prototypes across a product portfolio.
• Create compelling interactive visions by working closely with interaction and motion designers to explore novel interactions and animation quality.
• Lead or contribute to key projects, applying holistic systems thinking and advocating for user needs across platforms and applications.
• Define approaches that optimize implementation of design intent and contribute to interaction design best practices and pattern documentation.
• Build testable prototypes for usability studies and assist with final production implementation.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in front-end development on one or more platforms (e.g., web, iOS, Android), technical UX design, or prototyping.
• Experience with vibe coding tools, including AI Studio, Cursor, Antigravity, Firebase Studio.
• Experience with one or more of the following web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript.
• Experience in motion design related to physics, patterns, and visual design elements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or related field.
• 8 years of experience in technical leadership and managing projects across full tech stacks and in production environments.
• Experience developing with native iOS technologies (Swift) and Android.
• Experience collaborating with front-end engineering teams for native app user interfaces.
• Experience working with hosted back-ends (e.g., Firebase, Supabase) to power prototypes.

Compensation

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $224,000 - $315,000 (base) plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Base salary is determined by role, level, and location; individual pay is based on location, skills, experience, and education.
