Role
We are seeking a Senior Technical Leader functioning as a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to bridge business objectives and engineering execution by leveraging AI throughout the Software Development Lifecycle. The role leads Agentic Pods to deliver AI-enabled software solutions for customers in IoT/telecom domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers, product teams, and stakeholders to understand complex business problems and define solution strategies.
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications suitable for AI-assisted implementation.
- Design scalable, secure, cloud-native solution architectures for distributed systems and APIs.
- Lead Agentic Pods (engineers + AI agents) to deliver high-quality software and drive AI-assisted delivery practices.
- Review AI-generated architecture, code, tests, and documentation for correctness, security, and maintainability.
- Mentor engineering teams on AI-native engineering, prompt engineering, and best practices.
- Establish engineering governance, quality standards, and continuous productivity improvements via AI-enabled workflows.
Requirements
- 12+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in enterprise application architecture, distributed systems, APIs, cloud-native development, and DevOps.
- Proven experience leading technical teams and delivering complex software solutions.
- Hands-on experience within an AI Development Lifecycle (AIDLC): AI-assisted design, code generation, testing, debugging, documentation, and code review.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively use AI coding assistants (examples provided below) in day-to-day engineering.
- Experience creating structured technical specifications and prompts to improve AI-assisted delivery outcomes.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred / Desirable
- Experience in consulting or customer-facing solution roles.
- Exposure to Agentic AI frameworks and multi-agent development models.
- Experience with LLM-powered applications, RAG architectures, or AI orchestration platforms.
- Experience driving engineering transformation initiatives.
