Senior UX Designer, AI and Creativity, Envisioning Studio

Role

Lead the design of next-generation AI creativity and conversational experiences, creating voice-forward and multi-modal interactions across surfaces (e.g., smart speakers, smart displays, automotive). Translate emerging AI research into tangible product surfaces, novel interaction models, and functional prototypes that influence long-term product strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design of AI creativity and learning tools using vibe coding and rapid prototyping.
• Define new design systems and interaction patterns that set industry best practices.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (design, engineering, product) and external experts to co-create prototypes and product surfaces.
• Scout and invent new product experiences that leverage emerging AI breakthroughs.
• Integrate practitioner and user insights through research and “deep listening” to ground features in real-world needs.
• Operate across multiple product areas and adopt a Product Manager mindset to drive concepts to shipped prototypes.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of conversation design experience in product design or UX design.
• Experience bringing generative AI-powered products to market.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in designing products.
• 3 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization.
• Knowledge of Figma.

Compensation

• US base salary range (full-time): $159,000 - $233,000 (base only) plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
